The questions families bring to the first call.
Who is Considerate Capital built for?
We are designed for thoughtful pre-retirees and retirees, often with $2M+ in investable assets, who want an ongoing advisory relationship rather than a one-time plan. The best fit is usually someone who wants help coordinating investments, taxes, income, estate questions, and long-term decisions.
What makes your approach different?
We do not start with products or market predictions. We start with the life you want your wealth to support, then build a retirement income and investment strategy around that. The goal is not simply to maximize a portfolio. The goal is to make work optional with clarity, resilience, and peace of mind.
Do you help with tax planning?
Yes. We help identify planning opportunities such as withdrawal sequencing, Roth conversion windows, charitable planning, concentrated positions, and tax-aware investment decisions. We do not prepare tax returns or provide legal advice, so we coordinate with your CPA or attorney when needed.
How do you get paid?
Considerate Capital is a fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm. Compensation is disclosed clearly before any engagement. We do not receive commissions, product kickbacks, or hidden referral compensation.
What happens on the first call?
The first conversation is about understanding each other. We learn what prompted you to reach out, what decisions are ahead, and whether an ongoing relationship is likely to be helpful. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you directly.
A small set of plain commitments.
Compensated only by clients. No commissions, kickbacks, or product revenue of any kind.
Client assets are held at Charles Schwab. We never custody funds or securities directly.
A tiered, blended schedule disclosed in writing before any engagement begins.

There is no preparation needed, no obligation, and no sales pitch. We'll learn what prompted you to reach out and whether an ongoing relationship is likely to be helpful.
